Remember when you were a child? You had hopes and dreams. You laughed and played, and someone (hopefully) was there to care for you, hug you, and love you. You looked forward to each day of life with hope, wonder, and joy.
Every day worldwide, and probably in your own country or hometown, children suffer and struggle to survive another day. Their bellies are empty and swollen from starvation, and some are dying from fully treatable and curable illnesses. Yet, they have no one to take care of them. Some children will turn to unspeakable acts of desperation, believing there is no other way out of their predicament, while others will wait infinitely in despair.
There may be another way, and you can help.
Strangers they may never meet are giving these children hope with the help of boots-on-the-ground type charity organizations specializing in helping children.
It’s incredible what a person can do with a bit of hope. Where there is hope, there is life and a will to survive.
You may not be able to help physically or financially in some grand way. However, if there were a way that you could save a child, would you?
You don’t have to be a celebrity with pockets full of money to make a
difference. Anyone can change the world just by helping one person at a
time.

You can also help your community by becoming a mentor to a young person. You can teach, encourage and enable these young people to have better futures. You’ll be surprised at how much you’ve learned in your lifetime and how someone else can benefit from your valuable experience and well-earned wisdom.
If one thing you share spares a young person from making mistakes
(sometimes tragic ones), you will have made a difference and helped shape the future.
